The tenting kit allows you to angle your ErgoDox Wireless Lite, ErgoDox Wireless Pro, or ErgoDoxLP Wireless at a more comfortable position for typing. Keyboard tenting is useful for reducing wrist pronation, which can be painful for some individuals.
For each half, three coupling nuts are used in conjunction with screws to support adjustments. The tenting kit includes screws for three predefined angles: 11°, 19°, and 25°.
Watch this demonstration video to see how the tenting kit works.
The tenting kit is available in two variants:
- Basic: This option tents the keyboard on its own.
- Full Hand: This option tents the keyboard along with a wrist rest.
- The Grifiti Wrist Rest is sold separately and not included. While it does not screw into the tenting plate, it should remain in place with gravity and friction.
The tenting plate material is 1.5mm aluminum.
Each tenting kit purchase includes two plates and enough screws to cover both left and right halves.

RGB Underglow
On keyboards with RGB underglow, only one of the four LEDs will be visible through the tenting plate. One LED is plenty for use as an indicator. Additionally, having the keyboard tented at an angle makes the LED more slightly visible than if the keyboard were flat on a desk.
Length of Included Screws
Please refer to the following table when selecting the correct screws to use. The length of the top two screws is identical for Basic tenting and Full Hand tenting. The length of the third/bottom screw differs for the two. As the screws may not be the exact length needed for the predefined angles (there may be a few millimeter difference as the exact length screws are not commercially available), please make minor adjustments as needed to ensure the stability of your tenting setup.
